A region of permafrost that dominates
the northernmost lands of the Continent.
According to excavation researchers,
the area rapidly froze over around
the same time when the Ancient Age
came to an end.
How the two events are connected is yet
to be explained.
However, regardless of the cause,
the weather is in a constant state of
turmoil, and the skies above the region
are nearly impossible to navigate via
flight due to the violent winds.
Studies have shown that the region is
populated with creatures that appear to
have mutated from other bio-engineered
creatures, taking on adaptations that
help them survive in this harsh climate.
The fact that these creatures can evolve
even to be able to survive the rigors
of the Glacial Plains is a true testament
to their adaptive abilities.
